My Birthday ;)

Assalamualaikum w.b.t

My sister posted this on my FB :)

Thanks for all birthday wishes I got from people I know and do not know.

1- Personally, I do not celebrate my birthday, and I don't wish others on their birthday.

2- My choice does not mean I believe it's haram.

3- I believe it's okay to celebrate birthday, mother's day, teacher's day, independence day and so on as long as the celebration is done in halal way.

4- I believe that a Muslim SHOULD NOT put a candle on birthday's cake because I have seen in western movies which they will recite a prayer or a wish before blowing the candle. It's better for us not to imitate such practice.
