When He Test us....

Assalamualaikum w.b.t

Today, I received a sms from my old friend. She is already married. She asked me about my well-being. 

Suddenly she wrote:

I already miscarried my baby twice. Until now I still do not have children....

I don't have any answer, I don't know what to say. What is a feeling of a woman who has carried a baby insider her womb, suddenly God tests her. She didn't have any opportunity to see her baby's face.

وَإِذۡ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلۡمَلَـٰٓٮِٕكَةِ إِنِّى خَـٰلِقُۢ بَشَرً۬ا مِّن صَلۡصَـٰلٍ۬ مِّنۡ حَمَإٍ۬ مَّسۡنُونٍ۬

Recall when your Lord said to the angels, “I am going to create a human being from a ringing clay made of decayed mud. (28) 

فَإِذَا سَوَّيۡتُهُ ۥ وَنَفَخۡتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِى فَقَعُواْ لَهُ ۥ سَـٰجِدِينَ

When I form him perfect, and blow in him of My spirit, then you must fall down before him in prostration.” (29)

Qunut Nazilah For Rohingya

Assalamualaikum w.b.t

Our brothers and sisters in Islam in Myanmar are currently facing a great calamity:

10th June 2012:
The racist Rakhines with the co-operation of riot police (Hluntin) set on fire to nearly 1000 houses in the Rohingya villages in Sittwe( Akyab), the capital of Arakan State and over 100 killed and more than 300 wounded by Rakhine racists and security personnel. After setting fire in different villages, the security forces are in cordon the areas. When the Rohingya villagers try to distinguish and intentionally fired to them.

Due to that, it is our responsibility as a fellow Muslims to do whatever we can to help them. One of the possible action and it's the easiest is to recite dua' qunut nazilah for them.

Here, I would like to share with all my fellow brothers and sisters in Islam, how should we perform Qunut al-Nazilah. I compress this from fatawas of our great ulama’.

I just finished reading half of this novel this morning. Annie's Baby. I really want my girl students to read this novel.

You are teens, you think you understand so many things, but you are so naive to understand the meaning of love.

When we say RIP for Steve Jobs....

Assalamualaikum wbt. I never heard Steve Jobs's name before. I only knew about it after I read news on his death. I read his story. Very amazing. He had done a great achievement in his life. The most important is he had done beneficial things for thousand people.

 However, I am quite shocked to see some of my Brothers and Sisters in Islam wrote 'RIP' on their FB's wall when they mentioned about Steve's death. After that I managed to realize that RIP means 'rest in peace'.

Oversensitive

My previous posting had attracted many Mr/Mrs Anonym who showed their dissatisfaction towards my writing. People keep arguing why should I focus on Uniform Bodies issue? I should answer this question with a question. Can you prove that posting focus on uniform bodies' students? Can you show me?

Just because I put UB as an example, you feel that I am attacking you. That's your problem. The biggest problem exists in your mind. You keep thinking everybody is saying bad things about UB, so you become oversensitive.

Ban On Muslim Workers From Selling Liquor

The move taken by Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) to ban Muslim from working at outlets which sell liquor has caused different opinion among people. This confusion occurs due to misunderstanding to Islamic ruling related to this issue. We can see that non-Muslim understand that Muslim cannot drink liquor. However, in their opinion, it is alright for Muslim to get involved in any business related to liqour as long as they do not drink it.
